Turmeric helps prevent cancer, it’s a powerful brain food, it keeps your heart healthy, aids weight loss and helps fight against flu and colds with it’s super antioxidants and apparently turmeric even whitens your teeth. Doubt whitening them with a turmeric smoothie would work though, I’d do a bit more research on that if I was you. I’m sure there are more health benefits of turmeric, but you get the picture…
I love adding Turmeric to my curries and soups when I cook at home, but I realise since the spice is so good it’s probably best I incorporate it into my meals a bit more often than once a month and what better than with a Turmeric Smoothie for breakfast?
Here’s how I made this:
– 1 tea spoon of Turmeric
– Frozen banana
– Coconut Milk
I blended all my ingredients in a Nutribullet and Et Voila – super tasty and healthy breakfast packed with goodness done!
