You know that feeling when you’ve just come back from your first appointment at the new hair salon and you’re more than relieved that you’ve found someone you can trust with your hair? That happened to me and I’m sure you remember me talk about it in this post. I loved my hair SO much I even got complements about it 6 weeks after my first visit to Sassoon Salon in Edinburgh and that doesn’t happen often, trust me.
Usually, when I visit a salon for the second time it’s either because I’m hoping that my hair will finally be fixed from the previous visit and praying that maybe it really was my hair that didn’t take the colour properly the first time and from then on everything should all go smoothly. Never happened, but lets not dwell on the past huh?
My Sassoon appointment in Edinburgh last week was my second and for the first time in my hair history (there’s a lot of history), I didn’t even pay attention to what Fraser, the Creative Director was actually doing I trusted him that much. He remembered everything I was hoping to achieve the first time I visited and knew exactly what I wanted this time, taking into account my huge fear of brassy tones. Fraser added some more light flashes to my hair and we darkened the base too to deepen the roots same as the last time. My hair condition was not compromised at all with the colour process and probably even enhanced with the Illuminating Restorative Treatment afterwards. I didn’t get it cut this time but got the best head massage ever from Cory who also gifted my hair with a seriously bouncy voluminous blow-dry, until the Scottish weather decided that one hour of bouncy hair was enough. Can’t wait till next time, but for now, my hair colour is exactly the way I wanted it just in time for London Fashion Week and I couldn’t be happier with it.
PS! In the past, when I used to have “blonde” in my hair I used to be scared of wearing bright colours as they usually brought out the orange tones in the hair. Not now! Thank you guys! Promise to wear more colour now and stay tuned with me for all the LFW fun and I’ll be saying hello to you from the Sassoon pop-up salon in London too. Eeek!
