Welcome to my Botanic Gardens! Oh it’s just my desk… but welcome anyway. Just a few weeks ago I got introduced to pixi make-up by my friend over a coffee as we talked about how damaging some of the beauty products are out there just now. So glad she introduced me to the brand as I’m now a huge fan for many reasons, but what’s more exciting is that my friends over at QVC have recently launched pixi online with some sweet introductory prices and their very own video demos. Always loved that about QVC online shopping.
These tonic pre-soaked pads are probably currently my favourites in my skin-care regime. Glow Tonic is more than just tonic. After cleansing my skin in the evening with my usual facial wash, these exfoliating pads with 2 textures on each side still manage to take off more make-up off my face. The 5% of that glycolic has an instant effect on my skin as I feel a slight tingle (which I quite like) and the aloe vera with ginseng soothes my face and helps retain moisture and elasticity. All in one tiny little pad that smells delicious I must add. Watch QVC’s full on air presentation HERE.
Next up is my other new favourite and a very smart product.
If you are a regular traveller – this pixi Illuminating Tint & Concealer is your best friend. If you’re not a regular traveller, it’s still your BFF. The illuminating cream acts as a moisturiser, BB cream, sunscreen (SPF 20) and a tinted treatment that provides light and sheer coverage. Ideal for every day use, but it’s the concealer part that I absolutely adore. It matches ideally to the skin and covers every imperfection including my acne scarring, any breakouts and dark circles under eyes without looking cakey or looking like I have anything on my skin at all. My skin glows all day with this super duo.
Although you can apply both with your fingers, the brush is amazing for blending everything in. It’s so soft and I’ve already washed it once too, which is super easy to do and it retains its softness.
I love that all of pixi’s products are paraben-free and are packed with Vitamins leaving the skin revitalised, youthful and protected. We’re exposed to so many damaging rays, ultra-violet lights and pollution daily, so it’s very reassuring to know that my skin is looked and I’m not damaging it even further with products I use on my skin. I can’t wait to try more pixi products and tell you more about them soon, but if you’d like to know more about the brand there;s plenty of information on pixi’s website and VERY helpful videos on QVC.
Don’t forget to take advantage of QVC’s introductory prices. The duo above is only £20.16!
Have you heard of pixi? What do you think? Let me know if there are other products from the brand I should be trying.
Have a fab day!
