Happy “jungle” Monday! Hope y’all had a great weekend!
Mine was full of shopping and exciting newbies being delivered all day Friday and Saturday morning but with real proper shopping on Saturday – the kind I haven’t done for a long time… the all day walking around the shops kind of shopping…
I was invited to be part of the Livingston Designer Outlet #FashionFaceOff challenge with a few of the other Scottish bloggers on Saturday afternoon, and we’ve had so much fun! We all had to pick our ultimate summer outfit for £150 from different stores available at the Designer Outlet in only 2 hours!
Now, after managing my £75 challenge in St. Enoch centre the other week, I thought this was going to be a walk in the park, but oh boy, I was wrong! There’s so much choice, and I was running around between the outlets of Ted Baker, French Connection, Levi’s, Nike and my absolute new favourite obsession – Karen Millen for the entire 2 hours, amazed at the designer bargains! OK, they’re last season, but all so gorgeous and still so on trend.
The uneven striped slouchy top on the mannequin had already caught my eye on my arrival to the centre, so I knew this was going to be mine no matter what. My co-#FashionFaceOff-ers also said it had my name written all over it when they saw it and they weren’t wrong. I picked the The Anora Printed Ted Baker shorts also instantly, and although I tried hard to look for something else to go with the top in other outlets, I ended up coming back for the shorts, which only left me with the budget of £55 for a pair of shoes and accessories and this was where my new addiction for Karen Millen had kicked in, unusually early I might add. Instead of going round more stores and getting something different, I went back for this gorgeous pair of floral silver sandals that were only £35 reduced from £135, and completed my summer look with a bit of neon and some summer floral print clash!
#FashionFaceOff – Karen Millen wins!
I’ve lots to shoot this week with my new other goodies, so I’m excited to be sharing all that with you shortly!
Hope you all have a great week ahead and don’t forget to visit Livingston Designer Outlet if you can, you might be as lucky as us and bump into an actor from Towie – sorry, no idea who he was, so I can’t give you the name but if you’re a fan – keep an eye on my Twitter and if you recognise him – let me know who he is! 😉
PS! Thanks to Livingston Designer Outlet for my amazing new summer goodies and such a fun day, oh and yeah – my new obsession Karen Millen!
A separate special thank you to Levi’s store in the centre, who let me try out their new ID Curve fitting service and my new love – REVEL, which I’ll show and tell you all about very soon!
