Hey everyone, hope you’re all having a fab Bank Holiday Weekend? Love a long weekend and all the indulgence that comes with it. But for now, lets talk about Armani Glasgow who made last week so AWESOME for me and everyone that attended such a
fab launch party in Glasgow on Thursday evening. HUGE congrats to my now favourite brand for officially launching the 2 storey Emporio Armani Flagship store on Ingram street – a real style statement to the city and I’ll never get tired of saying it. I think you will agree? Just look at this handsome guy (the building that is)!
Guess what I was wearing to the launch party? The most stunning double-breasted runway blazer in sand silk blend over my favourite also Armani leather skirt. I can’t get enough of Armani’s gorgeous runway pieces and all of their nudes, creams, blush and pink tones. As soon as I enter the Glasgow store I always go straight for the nudes, leather and suede but who would blame me? They’re gorgeous. There was this one thing that I completely fell in love with though that was none of the above. It’s silver, silk and beautifully fitted (yes, I did try it on) – this gorgeous “so Armani” shirt / blouse of dreams and I think I need it in my life. And everything else from the store really. It would be much easier if I just moved in. Live transmissions straight from the changing rooms – ideal.
Below you’ll see a few snaps from the night of the launch. We were treated to several fashion shows styled by the super-talented and very lovely Andrea Perulli – Mr. Armani’s lead stylist who came to Glasgow especially for the launch. He’d been working with Armani for over 30 years and it was such a lovely touch to see him represent the brand on the night with so much class and friendliness at the same time. It’s exactly what Armani is all about as a designer brand and I’m certain that all the guests came away with that exact feeling. And a new wardrobe wish-lists I bet…
I’m head over heels with Emporio Armani footwear this season and are starting to obsess with ALL their bags and silk scarfs. If you follow me on Snapchat you will have seen my share some pretty snaps directly from the store, but it’s never the same as actually visiting it.
What’s catching your eye? My cheesy grin with Andrea perhaps?
