Wow! The longest I’ve ever been away from my blog and it feels so good to be back in business. Taken a little break to concentrate on our family and give alllll my attention to our new addition – little Leon who is 2 months today. Two beautiful months of newness, cuteness and a whole bunch of changes to our lives that naturally take time to adapt to. Not that it’s difficult to be bursting with pure love every day, no. Work, old routines, my time spent on social media and even dog walks had to be changed up a little. All to better our little family.

I put myself up for so many campaigns during Christmas thinking that Leon was going to arrive in February. I wasn’t really able to take time off work and social media for those reasons (plus I enjoy chatting to my virtual friends too much), so having a little break from my favourite platform was hard, but necessary. Feeling very excited to start shooting fashion content and sharing it with you guys. This look is definitely my favourite and I felt so chic wearing it last Sunday for a little stroll around the city shopping with Leon and his daddy. Checks on checks with a mix of corduroy and my favourite rusty tones seems like a lot for one look. But it is the easiest look to pull off when in the Winter as it’s all about smart layering. As long as the blazer has some movement and is not too structured / fitting. Comfort is key. It just came together so easily. When styling is effortless and quick it means I’m on the right track. I feel myself again. I’m back in business.
