Wardrobe filled with clothes, washing basket even worse and more garments are in the post to join the poor “little” wardrbe yet still, there’s just nothing to wear… Sometimes it’s the occasion, other times we feel bloated and can’t even look at tight tops or skinny jeans and some days we are just not feeling that creative, so having that “emergency” dress is a must in every girl’s wardrobe. Say hello to my MBD (midi black dress) as this gorgeous, yet simple frill hem dress is officially my saviour for “when you have nothing to wear” days…
I picked her up in COS sales the other week and although I’m not a fan of sale shopping lately (says she, who also bought these cowboy beauties the other day), any piece from COS will be a timeless addition for my wardrobe. Sale or no sale, but better sale! It’s sold out now, but check out some of the similar ruffle hem beauties I found for you below:

Having a dress like that in your wardrobe is such a headache relief. I can literally wear this to any occasion. Work, meetings, weekend shopping with a pair of sneakers, even a wedding – just add a crazy hat and drink lots of Prosecco… You may have noticed that I wear my blue boots all the time now too… Partly because I had a huge clear-out and got rid of most of my unworn shoes and now I feel as though I really have nothing to wear and the other reasons is just that they’re so great with plain dresses and skirts as well as super comfy. Remember this? Add a pop of colour with a scarf, lippy (I clearly need one here) and a pair of statement shoes and Et Voila… But trust me, on days when even colour is not an option just wear your dress, any shoes and your favourite jewellery – you will feel complete. I love midi length dresses and I’m so over anything that is figure-hugging I must admit, which basically means I’m now a COS addict.
Talking of jewellery… I got myself 2 new rings from Mexican Silver Store and both are as big as the Moon. The big silver round ring you see in the pictures above is called Rope Cocktail Ring and the other one I wear on rotation with this is a Mexican Brushed Copper Button Ring. I’ll show how I style it in another post. But for now I want to leave you with this: Girls, I already know you all look cute as buttons so go get your favourite dresses on and get yourself roped in to some some fun activity involving cocktails or shopping depending on the time of day. Or both. See what I did there?
Big Love,
Tatyana x
