IT’S OFFICIAL
Well hello and welcome to my first official 1st style post after the bump announcement. Official today, because the bump had made previous unofficial appearances in this, this and this post. My body started to change pretty much instantly and although I’m not wearing any maternity clothes here, I’ve officially started sizing up. These shorts are 2 sizes bigger and still required some unbuttoning and adjusting. This top is a medium, though I’ve always liked my tops oversized.

We took these shots on the way to dinner in Fuerteventura last week and lets just say that I was glad the shorts were too with room for further adjustment. Most days I wonder which one is making me size up more – the baby or the food baby… Appetite’s been great in Canary Islands (and in general) is all I’m going to say. Spanish olives by the jar, fresh tomatoes and plenty of seafood was what the baby was craving. I didn’t complain.
Back home now and preparing for the first day of S2 (2nd year of high school) tomorrow. Doing sweet nothing is amazing for a few weeks during the Summer, but I secretly think Sasha misses school and needs her routine back. Parents do too I’m sure. I still don’t know how parents manage 6 weeks of UK Summer school holidays whilst managing full-time work and everything else. Another reason why I love working for myself and the fact that Sasha can sleep until Midday on her off days helps so I can get plenty of work done.
Off to get on with my client work (I manage social media accounts for a few businesses) and make myself and the bump something to eat. Craving a Spanish Tortilla right now. Luck for me that daddy is Spanish 😉
