Wow, can you believe it’s the end of February – already?
The start of the year has been pretty great actually and for some strange reason, all about hair for me! New haircut and a lovely colour correction in January, a visit to London Wella Studio to experiment with some pastel tones (watch the VIDEO) and learn new styling techniques… And I ain’t stopping there! I’m going back to Twisted Sister salon next week, who initially cut my hair shorter with a few new ideas, though it all depends whether they are do-able, but I’ll keep you posted of course…
Yeah, so why am I talking about hair? I learnt a new loose waving technique from Wella Professionals, which I’ve been practicing a few times at home. Funnily enough, best result yet was right before this shoot, because I really wanted to show you my big new waves I was so proud of achieving all by myself! Major fail… but not my fault… Scotland!
Umbrella didn’t help – it was just too wet and windy! But there’s a good picture of my beach waves on INSTAGRAM before I left the house if you wanted to have a look. Give me a few more practices and I’ll be ready to show you how it’s done in a new video tutorial. The best thing about this technique – it only takes 3 minutes to do the whole head, no joke!
Wearing my favourite ASOS khaki cape/cardigan over a warm polo neck (needed) and suedette khaki trousers, which I just love wearing with my over the knee boots. Suede over suede – screams 70s and so did my hair style before I came outside… never mind!
Have a great weekend everyone! I’ll be going out to celebrate my friend’s birthday on Saturday, so fingers crossed we get better weather then!
