This is the girl who never owned anything navy (until this jumper) and now is drawn to this deep blue tone like a magnet.
I know it’s a little matchy-matchy here, but how well do my new Ted & Muffy boots go with the jumper? Or let me rephrase that… How GORGEOUS are my suede navy Ted & Muffy seventies boots? I hadn’t been that excited about a pair of boots in a long time! Remember when I went to Edinburgh for a day last week? I mentioned that I paid a visit to Ted & Muffy (previously DUO) store and tried on a few boots from their stunning AW range, but I never told you I went for these gorgeous Flare Boots, did I? I like to surprise you!
You might remember my over-the-knee boots I sometimes wear. They’re also made by the same brand but when they were DUO, and since they’ve re-branded a few months ago I couldn’t wait to check them out in Edinburgh again. Ted & Muffy footwear is all made to measure and each collection comes in array of calf and width fittings – the only brand that makes the perfect shoe for my skinny ankle.
I tried on a few pairs in their beautifully chic and sleek new store and laid my eye on a few bags too. Over-the-knee style was a contender and so were a few pairs of flat ankle boots until I saw my “Flare”. I instantly fell in love with rich deep colour and loved the pointy toe with a chunky block heel – so seventies, but so contemporary and original… But then I tried them on and it was love at first sight. I like to say they chose me! What do you think? Can’t wait to wear them with midi A-line skirts and dresses and really embrace the AW seventies styling with my navy flare.
Hope you’re all having a great week folks!
I’m in Tallinn, my hometown as we speak and it’s also my Birthday today – Happy Shoesday indeed!
