Holiday is on my mind for a long time and the day of the departure cannot come quick enough – no offence Glasgow, I love you, but you and I both know…. vitamin D.
Shopping before holiday breaks is my favourite hobby and this is something that Glasgow seems to have gotten right so far. We’ve such fantastic choice of retailers and brands in the city and in the outskirts, so many well-known international brands all want to join the party and Kiehl’s one of them – I attended the launch of the new store in Glasgow yesterday, which is their second largest in the world (so I was told at the party).
So, holiday shopping… I’m not anywhere near ready to start planning or packing as I’m always last minute, but it adds to the task when I have to get all 3 of us organised – the other two hate shopping and said they only need snorkels and masks. As long as we have basics – we’re sorted (well them, not me). For me – I need more than basics and with a few regular shopping trips already underway, I have a half of my DAY 1’s outfit sorted. You guessed it, the minute I lay my eye on these wide leg beauties, my travel bottoms for the very early morning flight there (and maybe back) were sorted. Can you imagine how cozy they will be paired up with a soft jumper and sliders? Flight attendant, bring me a blanket!
What do you wear when you travel? Any other essentials and tips?
Have a fab weekend! x
