How times change yeah? Just under 20 years ago when I moved to the UK I remember writing letters to my friends in Estonia that took a good few days to reach them. The £5 that I topped up my phone with a couple of years later gave me about 30 seconds to chat as it was much more expensive to call abroad. Today, you can walk down the street and talk on the phone with with your relative from the opposite part of the world without even holding your phone in your hand. Pretty much for free as well. It’s handy this hands free business isn’t it? My other half keeps his phone in the pocket and his wireless earphones are more or less glued to his ears (he takes a lot of work calls). Us girls have our “bottomless” handbags and countless stylish wireless earpieces to choose from on the market. But then you see, there’s the holding of the bag or even a crossbody can sometimes “obstruct your freedom”, no? Not sure if you see where I’m going with this, but I’ve discovered a whole new level of hands free. A stylish one too thank you very much Henri Bendel. A belt bag. But seriously, for someone who needs to go on regular dog walks and school runs etc, this beltbag is the best solution ever. Keys, phone, poop bags (sorry – reality), bank card and I’m pretty much sorted for the day. Without ever forgetting where I’ve put my bag because it’s always stuck to me. The most perfect accessory if you like taking long brisky walks in the gym gear, but also looks super pretty over Summer dresses.
What’s your favourite accessory lately? Bag? Suitcase with a charger? Tell tell tell…
