RECENT DILEMMA

I mean, I know there are many more “important” things in the world right now to have dilemmas about, like general election or #instafraud (search Twitter) in the blogersphere. But let me take you all away from that for a moment and allow me to share my recent dilemma with you. It’s definitely nothing bad, but new more than anything. Yep, it’s about my hair and let me explain why (I promise it’s serious and I need your help). 😉

You see my hair condition has never been that good since I started dying it at 16 and my hair’s been through a LOT since then.

I’ve had my hair bleached, balayage’d, ombre’d and anything else you can think of, but last year I was lucky enough to fall into the magic hands of Fraser & Gareth at Sassoon Edinburgh Salon and it’s all a very different story now.

Usually when my hair gets to this length I cut it off you see. The ends become so dry and lifeless I feel like I just need to give it a break plus I do like the feeling of a youthful fresh bob too now and again. I think a bob suits me too.

THE DILEMMA

So here’s my dilemma… I visited my “hair angels” last week for a colour and toner top-up and brought up “the chop” as an idea for the next visit since my hair was at “that” length already. Of course they loved the idea and usually I get excited about a big change too but I’m not feeling 100% ready. Will I even suit a long bob now? My hair is feeling and looking so healthy right now I feel like I should let it grow longer? But what if I look silly with longer hair?

It’s been really cared for by Sassoon in the actual salon as Fraser is super careful about the colour products we use and I awlays get a treatment after as well. Plus I have to thank all the Sassoon products I’m using at home for my healthy glossy locks. The illuminating oil is just the best.

HELP

What do you think guys? Bob in a few weeks time for Summer? Or keep it as it is and let it grow even longer? I know, I know… Third World Problems here, but I love being all “cut-it-all-off” brave every once in a while and having a fresh new look to play about with. AND I’m also enjoying what I currently have?!!! A metaphor of one’s life for you right there, don’t you think?

So guys, I have about 6-8 weeks to decide until my next visit and would love to hear what you think I should do. What would YOU do? Here are some snaps of me with a short bob in this & this post and long bob here and here.

Have a great weekend y’all anyway! `

I honestly think you should let it grow but you have to understand I have had long hair my whole life and last year I cut it. Now I regret it and it’s taking so long to grow ! Either way I think you are completely gorgeous and fabulous!

Aw you are always the sweetest! I think I’ll let it grow out a little longer 🙂

I always prefer when girls have longer hair but if you feel you need a change then go for the bob!

True! Not feeling the need yet 😉

I like your hair now. I always wanted the long hair but it is … too difficult for me. I adore my bob, but find long hair feminin and really sexy…
