Granny Shoes! How genius? Kind of ugly, but so freaking cool and awesome at the same time. It’s exactly what a tall girl like me needs and I’m just so glad granny shoes or glove-shoes as some people call them have been re-invented this year. They add a touch of chicness to any casual outfit and loudly scream retro, but I had no idea how comfortable they actually were until I tried a pair on.
I love trainers and I love flats, but I always felt that ballerina pumps always lacked that bit of sass and granny shoes somehow bring that out. Flats still work for me for running errands and doing school runs during the day, but these block-heeled soft beauties really are the in-between style I have been needing in my life. The low to mid heel is ideal for my height and the soft suede is so lovely against the skin. Safe to say these are by far the best ballerinas I’ve ever had.
What do you think about granny shoes? Yay or Nay?
Oh and do you like my new Swarovski rose gold ring from Tienne Jewellery? I can’t get enough of it!
Big Love
