GIRLY SPA STAY AT GLEDDOCH
This week I’ve discovered a new gem in Scotland – Gleddoch Hotel & Spa. This beautiful Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort is only 20 minutes away from the centre of Glasgow and I’m just surprised I’ve never heard of it or visited before. Delighted to have been invited to stay at the hotel and experience their luxurious Spa facilities with Jess (@almostchic) and Chantelle (@thegirlinthetartanscarf) for an overnight stay. A girly Spa Stay in the countryside with treatments, an outside hot tub with a view, dinner & breakfast and all the comfort in my very own executive suite with a Clyde View? Yes please…
As soon as I walked into my suite, I couldn’t believe the view. Overlooking the Clyde, the Golf Course and of course that hot tub we couldn’t wait to get into (see pic above in the slider). The resort had recently had a full renovation and I hadn’t been before so I can’t really compare, but can safely say that my Executive Suite was gorgeous. The bed is sooooo comfortable and the bathroom with shower are super luxe. Loved the little Scottish details like the tartan and shortbread as they’re certainly a lovely touch for visitors outside Scotland.
Imagine my excitement when we walked in to Camellia Room (I hope I got the name right) wearing a yellow dress? Those yellow armchairs and all those monochrome prints? I think the room can be used for functions, meetings or simply relaxation but I would just move in there… Definitely pop in when you visit Gleddoch – Camellia is just beside reception. The hotel has many other function rooms as it’s the perfect venue for weddings and you must check out the gardens at the back too. So pretty.
There’s nothing better than a girly spa day away from it all. I often feel when I visit spas I tend to be more or less “done” within 2 hours but at Gleddoch it was a whole different story. There’s so much to do in the Spa and for the first time ever I felt like a full day really wasn’t enough. It may have to do with the amount of pictures we were taking as well (haha), but can you blame us? Anyway, the Spa has a sauna, steam room, swimming pool, the jacuzzi (inside), the hot tub with a view outside, those heated tiled chairs and of course the treatments and breathtaking views throughout. Please ask for Ashleigh when you book yourself in for a massage – the best massage I’ve had in a very long time.
Feeling so relaxed and kind of spoilt wishing this was happening every week. Definitely recommend Gleddoch if you’re looking for a girly spa night away with the girls. Book yourself some treatments, dinner at the restaurant and enjoy some drinks at the bar overlooking the Golf course.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
Huge thanks to Gleddoch for such a lovely experience.
