Lets start off by saying that I’m kind of obsessed with all things corduroy right now. Last year we dipped in to the 70s classic shapes and bold colours, but this season we’ve really dug deep into this magical era. How to wear corduroy? Wear it however the hell you want is what I’m going to say but I do think that complementing it with 70s details will make it look and feel even richer, more original. I so wish I shot this look on St. Vincent street in Glasgow where Benedict Cumberbatch is currently shooting his new film “Melrose”. The street is transformed into New York setting and filled with 70s cars, yellow taxis and 70s shop signs. So cool…
One last thing. Sock boots.
So many mixed feelings about them online right now but I swear these are the easiest shoes to wear. Brilliant idea to bring them in Balenciaga and Zara for creating some good wearable alternatives.
