Totally ruined this whole scroll with the last juicy burger picture. Or did I? Maybe the buns were left untouched or maybe not, but hey it was a perfect Monday morning (last week) so far, so why even worry about continuing it “right” with a salad. Although saying that, I must admit, a few salad dishes did look amazing on the menu at the newly renovated cosy Blythswood SPA Cafe. All the marble…
You’ll all know how much I love Blythswood Hotel SPA from this post a few years ago. Millennial Mondays are still at a thing at the hotel and I even reviewed the restaurant not long ago here. And of course it’s the most perfect central spot for PR meetings. Last week I met up with the girls from Glossier, but more on that later…
So yeah, can all Mondays be Spa Days? Pretty please? Picture this: You arrive to Blythswood at 8AM every Monday morning and leave at Midday feeling like a brand new human being ready to tackle a busy week ahead. First, you spend an hour or two at the Thermal Spa followed by a mini (or heck – full hour) treatment of your choice. I had a back and neck massage and boy I want more. Shower, then hair and makeup with no-one harassing you in the changing rooms. Yes puppy, I’m looking at you. You won’t even let me turn on my hair drier without waking up the entire neighbourhood with your loud bark. Anyway, back to our perfect Monday morning.
Once you’re all relaxed and ready, heading to the SPA cafe to continue your perfect Monday is advisable. Some people bring in their laptops to prepare for the day ahead whilst having lunch. Others… well they’re still in their bathrobes chilling. Why rush eh?
Who’s for making Monday mornings SPA days? Hands up.
