Happy Friday everyone! What’s everyone got planned for the weekend?
If you follow me on Social Media, you will have seen me post about my lovely afternoon of Bubbles and Brunch with Christina from The Daydreamer at Hutchesons in Glasgow last Saturday. What a fab idea this Brunch and Bubbles at weekends is… When you visit, make sure you check out the gorgeous Grand Brasserie – it’s so beautiful we wanted to stay there all night for cocktails and maybe some steak, why not? But if you like to take pictures of your food, coffee and anything really (like me), then you’ll love the Cafe Bar with marble tables – so picturesque…
I’ve been talking about Bubbles and Brunch all week after that and if I didn’t have plans made for this weekend already I’d be going there again with someone. Basically, you pay £20 each with one friend (make it 4 or 6 if you like) and between two you get a bottle of Prosecco to share, some warm croissants, fresh orange juice and a breakfast dish each. How tasty do they look though? Of course, I had to have some avocado on a crusty toast with a poached egg and fresh chilli and Christina went for my other old time favourite Eggs Royale. Seriously, Glasgow girls or whoever’s coming to Glasgow for some Christmas shopping soon – give me a shout when you need a break, I’ll take you there to fall in love with Hutchesons. I love it that much even my hair stands up on my head (see pics) haha…
I decided to wear a thin knit and denim for the day-time occasion, but I “smartened” up my casual look with my favourite heels of the moment. And although I really wanted to dress up for Hutchesons, I even managed to do a bit of shopping afterwards… I mean that’s the idea, unless you’re going to be staying there till Midnight (my plan next time).
What are you all up to this weekend? Anything exciting? Have a good one regardless!
