Lets talk about some 70s layers today. Apparently, this sleeveless navy piece is a “dress” so when I grabbed it off the rails at the Forever 21 store in Glasgow and then tried finding the link for it online at home – I must admit, it took me a while. I mean I like short dresses and don’t mind showing a bit of leg now and again, but this can’t be a dress and I won’t wear it alone, but I do truly like it, especially the retro zip. Would you believe I eventually found it under the name of “Raspberry Knit Jumper Dress”? Should have looked closely at the knit stitching Tatyana! Nonetheless, it’s a keeper.
So… 70s layers…
I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of my flare kick denims and my denim (also flare) dress that I decided to wear under my new Raspberry dress. I wore the sleeveless knit with some basic stripes and my mango denim shirt already last week, which both looked great, but I decided to give this look a bit more shape. Thick denim and warm knits are not only so 70s, but they’ll also keep us warm in this (I want to say transitional, but it’s really not yet) weather. I’m sticking to thick layers for a while yet.
So there… I give you dress on dress! Have a great weekend everyone!
